The Buggy idea...
After getting the beetle MOT'd and running and using it for a while I looked into re-spray costs and realized that the cost was huge, a buggy shell costs about £1250 and a beetle re-spray about £3000 ish.
As a beetle fully restored and pristine, the car can only ever be worth say £4000? a buggy however could sell for up to £8000!
It was decide that making the beetle into a buggy was a great idea and far more sensible than completing the car.
